LIZZIE FOX is an actor, translator, writer, and teacher. As an actor, she has performed new work at theaters including 59E59, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and New York Theatre Workshop.
As a translator, her work has been supported by the Martha Boschen Porter Fund and the Barn Arts Collective, and she was a finalist for the 2021 Peirene Press Translation Prize. Lizzie is a graduate of Williams College, where she received her B.A. in Comparative Literature and Latin.
Lizzie is currently performing in The Martyrdom & The Collision at 59E59 Theaters. The Martyrdom features Lizzie’s translation of Dulcitius, a Latin play by medieval writer Hrotsvitha of Gandersheim. For more information, click here.
